Founder
Frederick Powell
BSIT — Cybersecurity & Information Assurance
Frederick founded ClearPath GRC after years of watching capable IT teams get blindsided by CMMC and DFARS obligations they didn't know existed until a prime contractor or an assessor asked the wrong question at the wrong time.
His background combines formal cybersecurity training with direct field experience helping defense contractors and their MSPs navigate the gap between what a framework says on paper and what an assessor actually expects to see in the evidence file.
ClearPath exists because generic GRC platforms kept falling short in exactly the places that mattered most — evidence quality, assessor defensibility, and the judgment calls that can't be automated but have to be guided.

Evidence over intent
Assessors don’t grade effort. They grade what’s in the file. Every capability in ClearPath is built to produce evidence that survives scrutiny.
Methodology over mystery
Good compliance work is defensible and explainable. Our methodology is shared with clients under NDA and delivered to assessors on request.
Scope over speed
A certification rushed through shortcuts is a False Claims Act filing waiting to happen. We move fast, but never at the cost of accuracy.
